Pet Therapy in Lincoln

Life skills workshops, run by people, hosted by dogs.

We have teamed up with The Network, a Lincoln charity providing free careers support for young people. They help 16 to 24-year-olds overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

Their Pawsitive Possibilities life skills workshops are run by a variety of professionals and hosted by the dogs here at VIPPIES HQ. The young people come along and discuss budgeting, online safety, what to expect from the world of work, what an employer expects, mental health coping strategies such as Mindfulness and much more in a relaxed place where there is no presumption of eye contact while they begin to open up and talk.

Get involved

Volunteer your dog to help young people.

You can be part of this if you wish. If your dog comes to VIPPIES HQ on a regular basis you can give permission for them to be one of the therapy dogs along with the boss, Max. The young people sit with the dogs, play with them or go on supervised walks as part of the six-week programme.

We also offer work experience placements through the YPLP to young people who are considering a career with animals or who would like to try working within a small business. All pet caring duties are fully supervised whilst we train young people up to our high standards.
